Welcome to the tour with Europamundo! You will be transferred to your hotel and have some free time. In the afternoon, information about the tour's start will be available on boards at the hotel reception.

DAY 2 / SAT - London
Exploring the Capital

A panoramic tour of London with a local guide, showcasing the city's culture and history. Includes Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace (with a possibility of witnessing the Changing of the Guard, depending on the dates). Evening: A meeting point will be established in Piccadilly for a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, known for their lively atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment. Many restaurant options for dinner before returning to the hotel.

DAY 3 / SUN - London - Cambridge - York - Durham
Historic Cities of Northern England

Leaving London, heading towards northern England. First stop is Cambridge, where you'll admire the beautiful colleges. After lunch, continue to York, featuring its stunning cathedral, Roman walls, and lively shopping streets, with free time to explore. Afterwards, proceed north to Durham, a vibrant town.

DAY 4 / MON - Durham - Alnwick - Edinburgh
Into Scotland

Travel to Scotland. Stop in Alnwick, a picturesque town known for its beautiful gardens and large medieval castle, famously featured in the Harry Potter films. Continue to Edinburgh, arriving around midday. Edinburgh is Scotland's capital and one of Northern Europe's most vibrant cities, with its monumental center declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle overlooks the city's steep streets and parks. You'll enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide.

DAY 5 / TUE - Edinburgh - Pitlochry - Inverness - Loch Ness - Glasgow
Scottish Highlands & Loch Ness

An exciting journey through the Scottish Highlands. Starting with coffee and a stroll in Pitlochry, a charming village. Passing through Inverness in northern Scotland, near the mysterious Loch Ness. Visit Urquhart Castle (admission included). Embark on a boat ride on the dark waters of Loch Ness. Passing by Fort Augustus with its sluice system, and Fort William, a tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis (the highest summit in the United Kingdom). Heading south through high plateaus and skirting the picturesque shores of Loch Lomond. Arrival in Glasgow at the end of the day.

DAY 6 / WED - Glasgow - Lichfield - Birmingham
England's Industrial Heritage

Early morning from Glasgow, heading south through Scotland and England. Journey offers pleasant green landscapes and small villages. Stop for a walk and lunch in Lichfield, a picturesque town known for its cathedral with three spire-topped towers. Its historic center features cobbled streets and old buildings. Continue to Birmingham, the second-largest city in the United Kingdom. A vibrant economic and cultural hub, historically significant for the Industrial Revolution. Recommendations include strolling around the town hall area and exploring the extensive canal network, which is larger than Venice's and lined with restaurants and entertainment venues.

DAY 7 / THU - Birmingham - Stratford-upon-Avon - Stow-on-the-Wold - Gloucester - Bath
Shakespeare Country & Cotswolds

From Birmingham, visit Stratford-upon-Avon, historic city founded in the 12th century on the banks of the River Avon, famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Option to visit his birth house. Continue through scenic regions and small villages to Stow-on-the-Wold, a charming village characterized by stone houses, a picturesque square, art galleries, and antique stores. Proceed to Gloucester, with time for lunch at the lively docks and an opportunity to explore the historic center, including its grand cathedral where some Harry Potter scenes were filmed. Day concludes in Bath, renowned for its hot springs and Georgian architecture, with an option to visit the Roman baths.

DAY 8 / FRI - Bath - Stonehenge - Salisbury - London
Ancient Mysteries & Return to London

After spending time in Bath (with optional visit to the Roman baths), continue through southern England, including admission to Stonehenge, one of the world's most famous prehistoric monuments. Stop in Salisbury for lunch in its charming medieval center, followed by a visit to its impressive cathedral (admission included), which boasts the tallest spire in England. The tour concludes with a return to London, arriving at the end of the day.
