Itinerary Overview
Arrival in Santiago. Meet your driver for an individual transfer to the hotel and check-in. Later, enjoy a 4-hour sightseeing tour of Chile's capital, covering the city's top landmarks with a guide. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Santiago.
Breakfast at the hotel. Set out on an 8-9 hour group excursion with an English-speaking guide to the Pacific coast. Experience bohemian Valparaíso and elegant Viña del Mar—twin cities that beautifully complement one another. Lunch at a top coastal fish restaurant is available at extra cost. Return to Santiago. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Individual transfer to the airport and flight to northern Chile. On arrival, transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon, join a group excursion with a professional English-speaking guide to the otherworldly Valley of the Moon and Death Valley (~8 km from town). Witness an unforgettable sunset before returning to San Pedro.
Optional Evening Activity
Astronomical night tour with telescopes (group, English). Not available during full-moon dates. Approximately USD 100 per person.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day group excursion to the Altiplano Lakes and the great salt flat. Travel via Toconao and Socaire with views of Licancabur volcano. Enjoy a local lunch, then continue to lakes Miñiques and Miscanti to spot flamingos. Visit Laguna Chaxa in the Salar de Atacama before returning to San Pedro. Overnight at the hotel.
Early departure (~05:00) for a full-day group excursion to the El Tatio Geysers—one of the world's largest geyser fields—set at ~4,300 m above sea level and 97 km from San Pedro. Breakfast included. Continue to the village of Machuca before transferring to the airport for your flight to Santiago. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
